From a very reliable source reaching NB, Sumbo Ajaba, one of Tuface's babymamas and also the CEO of ESOB Events is set to wed her widower church Pastor, David Adeoye. Sumbo is one of the choristers at the Royalty Christian Centre where Pastor Adeoye is the General Overseer.

Last week, the news about Tuface and Annie Macaulay's weeding plans leaked on twitter and now it seems Pastor Adeoye have decided to compensate Sumbo the mother of two. The wedding will take place at a later date this year.

We Won't Allow Same Sex Marriage In Nigeria, Insists David Mark

 

Nigerian Senate President, David Mark, has insisted that the Bill prohibiting same sex marriage is irrevocable.
Speaking over the weekend, Mark said the Bill would be passed into law irrespective of pressures from some sections of the international community and human rights activists demanding the legalization of same sex marriage in the country. It is now a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment of not less than 14 years.

In his words: “We will not compromise on this. I want to invite you all to join the crusade of decency in our society.
“There are many good values we can copy from other societies but certainly not this one (same sex marriage).
“We have to prove to the rest of the world, who are advocates of this unnatural way that we Nigerians promote and respect sanity, morality and humanity. “Every individual is a product of the union of a man and woman.”

Colchester Castle Closes For £4.2million Redevelopment

 

Colchester Castle in Essex here in the UK, closed its doors to the public on January 6 in order for a £4.2million redevelopment project to get underway. The castle, which will reopen in Easter 2014, requires roof repairs, a heating upgrade, improved disability access, improved collections care for objects on display and improvements to the visitor experience. New displays will present the archaeology and history of Colchester from the origins of the town in the Iron Age to the Civil War Siege in 1648. More pictures of the cut***

Heather Knies was given a death sentence at the age of 24. She battled not one, but two brain tumors -- one of them a grade 4 glioblastoma, the same kind of cancer that killed Sen. Edward Kennedy in 2010.
But today, six years later, she is cancer-free, and her doctors at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Arizona cannot explain it. Her latest MRI is clean, and she is neurologically intact.

R. Kelly Releases Song For Connecticut Shooting Victims

 

R&B star R. Kelly has released a song in tribute to the victims of last month's (Dec12) Connecticut massacre and vowed to donate the proceeds to the devastated families.
Suspected gunman Adam Lanza, 20, opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown on 14 December 2012, killing 26 people before allegedly turning the weapon on himself.
Deeply shocked by the massacre, the 'I believe I can fly' singer, wrote a moving ballad to express his sadness.
Kelly recorded the song, titled I know You're Hurting, with a children's gospel choir and vowed to give the proceeds to those affected by the shooting.
The song, which is available via digital retailer iTunes, features the lyrics: "I know you're hurting/ I hear you crying, but come tomorrow, there's a place you can go/ Find the blue skies/ Hear the choir sing/ Feel the power of a miracle". Great one my music icon..

According to Italian Magazine, 'Diva e Donna', Mario Balotelli's sister - Abigail Barwuah is expecting a baby with striker boyfriend, Obafemi Martins. Just before the new year, Martins cleared the speculation that Balotelli was not happy with his relationship with the sister and quoted that his co-footballer is very much in support of their romance.
The magazine quotes Abigail as saying: “The baby is making its presence felt. This is a very special Christmas for me.”

Kim Kardashian is set to make £10 million from her pregnancy.
The reality TV star is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West and she is already said to be in talks with TV bosses about filming everything to do with her pregnancy as well as becoming the face of lots of mother-to-be and baby products. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kim is in talks with TV execs about filming the run-up to the birth - scans, hospital visits, everything. She could make £10million from the pregnancy alone, really? Wow!!!!!
However, it is unsure whether Kim will allow the TV cameras to film her giving birth like her sister Kourtney did when she had her children, Mason, three, and six-month-old Penelope. Fingers crossed..

Irish Climber Killed By Lightning on Mount Kilimanjaro

 

Last night tribute was paid to an Irish climber who was struck by lightning and killed while leading a group up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.  

Ian McKeever, 42, was leading  23 Irish charity climbers up the 19,340ft peak, Africa’s highest on December 30, when the incident happened. It is understood a number of them also needed medical attention. Lecturer and broadcaster Mr McKeever also climbed the world’s seven highest peaks in a record 155 days in 2007, including reaching the summit of Everest.
