Baby Survived Without Amniotic Fluid
This was sent in by a friend of mine who gave birth last week.
For any pregnant woman, the breaking of the amniotic sac, and the gush that follows, is a signal that her baby is getting ready to be born but in my case the story was different.
I lost my waters when I was just 20 weeks pregnant and from then my nightmare began. I was told by the doctors I would go into labour and loose the baby in 48 hours. I was also told that even if I carried the baby, he will not survive at birth because babies need water for the development of the lungs.
For over 15 weeks I endured the worst, heard all the doom and gloom and my life was full of pain. But with God’s word, by his grace, faith, some wonderful friends, prayers, help, support and the most amazing family in the world, I faced each day with strength.
At 35 weeks + 2 days on Friday the 21st of September 2012, my miracle baby arrived and he cried, a sign that his lungs are working. He was taken to the intensive care unit to enable them monitor his lungs and I was told he would remain there for weeks, but in less than a week my baby Alexander recovered quickly than any other child and is back home, well and healthy.
I am a living proof that if you hold firm to God’s word, you will sure come back with a testimony. I’m speechless and I stand amazed in His presence…….
