Hairy 'Anti-Pervert' Stockings Picture Goes Viral In China

A picture of a pair of hairy tights is proving popular in China.

The image of the stockings was first posted on Sina Weibo, China's equivalent to Twitter.

The user who posted the picture, @HappyZhangJiang, described the garment as "super sexy, summertime, anti-pervert, full-leg-of-hair stockings, essential for all young girls going out".

The picture has gone viral after becoming one of the most popular posts on the site.

Similar items were sold by J Crew back in 2010. Lace leggings sold by the company replicated the texture and appearance of hairy legs.

Engineering students in India recently developed anti-rape underwear in the wake of a violent gang rape that resulted in the death of the victim. The underwear was designed to deliver electric shocks to the attacker and comes equipped with GPS that can alert the police and the victim's parents, according to The Times of India.
