London Bar Raided By Police For Selling Cocktail Flavoured With Whale Skin

 

A trendy bar in Shoreditch, London, has been raided by police after allegedly selling a cocktail infused with whale skin.
The Moby Dick, which contained "a small amount of whisky infused with a single 2[cm] x 5cm strip of dried whale skin", was being sold at the Nightjar in Hoxton.
The Met's Wildlife Crime Unit and a UK Border Force officer raided the bar on 3 December, amid a ban on whale meat and products across Europe, except under strict restrictions in Greenland and Denmark.

Police seized the bottle of whisky for testing, but no arrests have been made.
