Obasanjo's Abeokuta Mansion Destroyed By Fire
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s multi-million naira hill-top
mansion in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital was on Thursday destroyed by
fire, with one person sustaining injury.
It was said that the fire started 20 minutes
after Obasanjo reportedly left the house, and that it was caused by
an electricity surge from one of the offices of the former president and
destroyed some valuable documents. Obasanjo
expressed appreciation to God, during his address to some newsmen shortly after the fire was put out.
