British boy band JLS (Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams, Jonathan Benjamin) announced yesterday April 24 2013 that they are splitting after five years together.
The four-piece, who rose to fame on the 2008 series of The X Factor UK and despite finishing as runners-up to Alexandra Burke, they have achieved great commercial success off the back of the show with five chart-topping singles, three platinum-selling albums and record sales of over ten million.
