Beyoncé & Jay-Z Named Music’s First Billionaire Couple

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been named the first couple in music ever to become billionaires.
According to the International Business Times, the pair reached the dizzying financial status this year.
It is thought that, although both have enjoyed incredible career success, Beyoncé's recent earnings through sales from her Mrs Carter World Tour, Pepsi and H&M collaborations pushed their collective earnings over the milestone mark.
The singer is rumoured to have made approximately $116million from The Mrs Carter Show, her $50million endorsement deal with Pepsi, and her H&M salary is also thought to be in the millions.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z estimated worth is $475million as published by Forbes few weeks ago. The pop icon has enjoyed considerable earnings as the co-founder of Roc Nation, co-owner of the 40/40 nightclub and co-creator of fashion label Rocawear. He also has shares in the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. Jay-Z has sold over 50million albums worldwide. He recently completed work as the executive producer of The Great Gatsby soundtrack.

Lilian Akiyesi's Camp Responds To 'The Ezinne Story'

 

Earlier today I told you guys that we've entered Part 2 Disc 1, here is Part 2 Disc 2 of Solomon Akiyesi's home video.

Lilian Akiyesi's very close friend has come out to debunk the claims of 1st wife Ezinne, "that Solomon was still married to her before getting married to Lilian."

I am very close friends with Lilian's family and have decided to respond to this shocking and unfair accusation. Lilian met Solomon as a little and naïve girl in 2001. There was no one married to Solomon as at then. Down the line, Solomon got married to Ezinne who said she was pregnant as at then. Lilian moved on with her life. Years later, Solomon and his family came to ask for Lilian's hand in marriage claiming that their son was deceived into marriage as Ezinne was never pregnant and was infact confirmed in the hospital to have damaged her womb a long time ago. On investigation, Solomon's family said all rites have been retrieved and dissolved of the marriage which was based on deceit.

Medical Miracle: The First Woman Ever To Have Successful Uterus Transplant Is Pregnant

This new medical breakthrough from Antalya, Turkey have given hope to millions of couples all over the world who want to become parents.

Derya Sert, the first woman ever to receive a uterus transplant from a deceased donor, is reportedly pregnant 18 months after the procedure. The 22-year-old was given IVF treatment using her own eggs once doctors were sure that her new uterus was functioning correctly.

This will also be great news, of course, for women who have had their uterus removed due to medical conditions such as cancer.

Although the mother-to-be is reported to be in excellent health, experts have warned that the pregnancy does not come without its risks. Ms Sert will have to be monitored extremely closely throughout her pregnancy, and the baby will most likely be delivered by Caesarean section. Wow, what a miracle!!!

Simon Cowell Set To Hire Kelly Rowland For X Factor USA

Kelly Rowland has been confirmed to join Simon Cowell on the judging panel of X Factor USA - despite being axed off the UK show.
The former Destiny's Child band mate was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger on the X Factor UK last year. And the 32-year-old singer is now 'most definitely in the mix' to replace Britney Spears on the third season of the Fox talent show, which airs later this year.
It's not yet known whether Cowell will appear with three women on the judging panel - or hire another man to replace L.A. Reid.
I really love to see Kelly back, she was good on the UK show.

Drama Still Unfolding: Meet Solomon Akiyesi's 1st Wife Ezinne

 

The drama surrounding the unspeakable event that happened last Saturday when Nollywood actor Solomon Akiyesi tried to marry another while still married is getting hotter by the day. We've entered part 2 Disc 1....hahahaha. If you missed the story read it here and here.

Well, after that incident, it was reported that Lilian who disrupted the wedding that was meant to happen between her husband and Uloma is not Solomon's actual first wife (she is the second). That wedding on Saturday infact, was Solomon's 3rd marriage attempt. Also in another report, Lilian claims that Uloma knew that Solomon was still married to her yet she continued her affairs with him despite several warnings from her.

In a recent update gathered by SDK, Solomon Akiyesi was first married to Ezinne (pictured above on their wedding day), didn't divorce her....went ahead and married Lilian. Solomon was still married to Ezinne and Lilian respectively and lied about going to Lagos to shoot a movie, only to get married to Uloma for the third time in his life.

Ogun Royal Father Striped Naked, Palace Destroyed

Angry mob burn Oba’s palace, cars in Ogun State, this is according to Channels TV report.

There was mayhem on Monday in Ado-Odo, Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State when a traditional ruler, Oba Lateef Adeniran was attacked and stripped naked by some hoodlums who also set his house and cars ablaze.

Some members of the community who spoke with journalists alleged that the king was imposed on them by the past administration but insisted that peace can only return to the area with the installation of a king generally accepted by the people.
The palace was also destroyed while his wives and children escaped being lynched by rampaging residents during the violence that ensued following a Supreme Court judgement.
It was gathered that the attackers were protesting the validation of his appointment by a Supreme Court judgement delivered in January 12, 2009.

Boston Marathon Explosions: At Least 2 Killed, 23 Injured

Two explosions hit the Boston Marathon as runners crossed the finish line on Monday, killing at least two people and injuring 23 on a day when tens of thousands of people pack the streets to watch one of the world's best known marathons.
Boston police also reported another explosion at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, which is three miles from the marathon's finishing line.
The blasts at the marathon took place about three hours after the winners crossed the line, with one explosion on the north side of Boylston Street, just before the photo bridge that marks the finish.
Another happened a few seconds later, about 50-100 metres away.
Some runners were making their way across the finish line as the drama unfolded, and TV helicopter footage showed blood on the pavement in the popular shopping and tourist area known as the Back Bay.
