Mum Sets Sons on Fire as Punishment for Smoking
Wonders shall never cease, this is a must read for everyone....
A mother poured paraffin over her two sons and set them on fire as punishment after she caught them smoking. Her nine-year-old boy died and his older brother was seriously injured.
Noluthando Nomavayi , 37, was convicted of murder and attempted murder by a court in Cape Town. She was sentenced to 11 years in prison and her older son was taken to foster care.
Judge Vincent Saldanha said: "[The deceased] and his brother were much-loved and spent most of their time playing soccer in the confines of the family home."
Reports from various social workers and clinical psychologists showed that Nomavayi suffered from depression and had twice attempted suicide as a result of abused and neglected childhood.
But, why will people always claim to be psychologically ill whenever they commit serious crimes?
